*production engineer*
*job objective*:
shop lead will oversee daily production planning of the assigned facility to ensure goals and objectives are achieved.
*essential duties and responsibilities*:
- plans and organizes daily production planning.
- works directly with material handling, mounting, foam fill, and shipping to ensure production goals and objectives are met.
- complete understanding of production area.
- responsible for inventory control.
- responsible for overseeing safety, work instructions, and iso *.
- performs other related duties as required.
- foreign travel may be required for training purposes.
*requirements*:
- good problem solving abilities.
- can troubleshoot issues and determine the cause of a plan's success or failure.
- excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills.
- extensive knowledge of products and operations, specifically in commercial or industrial tires.
- excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- two to three years of relevant work experience.
- excellent verbal and written communication, english required.
- bachelor degree
