Responsibilities
work closely with the global finance group and regional it teams on implementation of fpa system changes specifically server standardizations and corporate technical security mandates.
manage global set of linux server environments hosting planning analytics workspace.
perform weekend server configuration changes and service restarts.
perform scheduled service account password changes and maintenance.
manage tm1 scheduled chores and validate data load procedures.
regression test tm1 models after platform migrations and server upgrades
execute tm1 model change control and production promotion procedures.
monitor tm1 health and system alerts using the pulse software application.
perform software installations and upgrades for ibm planning analytics (aka tm1) and related support software applications.
provide production support to global finance teams new user additions and security change requests.
contribute to team projects in various capacities to support global project initiatives.
qualifications
bachelors degree in information technology information systems or computer sciences.
3 to 5 or more years of overall experience in information technology information systems or financial systems preferred.
2 or more years of experience in ibm tm1 or planning analytics and planning analytics workspace administration.
solid experience with linux and containerization packages. Docker podman openshift preferred.
experience in azure cloud implementations highly desirable.
experience in windows server 2016 to 2022 administration user and group management shared folders and directories and enterprise software package installation and configuration.
experience with system integration testing and application uat preparation and execution.
