the sig am-n supply chain analyst will support the planning, execution, and analysis of the region's supply chain operations, owning the make-to-stock business operations. This role is responsible for monitoring transit until goods are delivered and billed to the final customer, maintaining the inbound receipt forecast for warehouse customers, and running mrp to ensure balanced merchandise flow into warehouses within established parameters.
key responsibilities
1. define clear liabilities on inventories: no goods are purchased without a signed wh slia / pos.
2. collect data and provide analytical support for scm functions.
3. use data and analysis to resolve daily asset operation issues, identify supply chain problems, and coordinate with key partners.
4. prepare and automate scm reporting kpis and reconcile efforts with finance and global control teams.
5. implement kpis, evaluate performance, and ensure contracts adherence within the logistics supplier’s operational excellence program.
6. maintain inbound receipt forecasts and establish reporting tools to ensure merchandise flow is balanced and within parameters.
7. monitor industry standards and trends to identify developments in logistics planning or execution.
8. participate actively in the transport procurement process (rfq) and leverage local negotiations for customs cost reduction.
skills, experience & education
* bachelor’s degree required.
* at least 5 years of supply chain experience in manufacturing.
* experience in project management and continuous improvement initiatives.
* advanced ms office skills, with expert-level excel preferred.
* 3 years of erp experience, sap preferred.
