In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, design, and execution of high-density storage solutions that enhance warehouse efficiency and functionality. You will work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.
your expertise will be crucial in overseeing project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring that all objectives are met while adhering to safety and quality standards. You will also be involved in conducting feasibility studies and providing technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
key responsibilities
* design and planning
* analyze inventory and storage requirements
* evaluate high-density storage solutions (selective racking, push-back racks, pallet flow systems, as/rs, among others)
* develop detailed layouts and designs, considering seismic conditions, building constraints, and safety requirements
* project management
* oversee the installation and implementation of storage systems
* manage timelines, budgets, and allocated resources
* coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and warehouse staff
* operational efficiency
* optimize storage and retrieval processes for fast and efficient order fulfillment
* ensure the proper selection and use of equipment (forklifts, agvs, etc.)
* implement systems for inventory control and management
* continuous improvement
* analyze system performance and identify improvement opportunities
* incorporate new technologies and automation solutions to reduce costs and enhance efficiency
requirements
* bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field
* experience in project management, specifically in high-density warehousing systems
* strong knowledge of warehouse design and optimization
* proficiency in project management software and tools
* excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact effectively with clients
* analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
* willingness to travel as needed for site assessments and client meetings
