*in this role, your responsibilities will be*:
- manage and follow up on authorized requirements from the company areas.
- follow up on and supervise purchase orders, delivery and status of orders.
- negotiate prices and delivery times for orders, as well as credits and payment conditions with suppliers.
- search for alternative sources of supply, new products and materials, to meet production objectives.
- manage the transfer of raw materials between plants.
- make purchase orders according to the established and authorized procedure.
- ensure compliance with the procedure, policy and requirements defined to regulate plant acquisitions.
- support users with information on the status of their purchase orders, and stocks on the market of the items they request.
- conduct performance evaluations of their most important suppliers.
- deliver necessary documentation to import materials.
- develop external metrics for suppliers
- ensure visits to suppliers

*for this role, you will need*:
- english intermediate
- completed degree or engineering.
- advance oracle
- leadership, teamwork, negotiation, conflict resolution
- mandatory: technical knowledge of metalworking, contracts and purchase agreements, basic knowledge of sae and ul standards and regulations
- mandatory: 2 years in a similar position
- desirable: lean manufacturing
