Overview
working as a metalworking sales specialist, you will be responsible to develop existing customers as well as prospective new customers to find solutions for their needs through working with their metalworking teams and collaborating with strategic accounts and branches to grow his book of business. Discuss and negotiate metalworking strategies with customer as well as coordinate new rollouts related with the category at their plants. Propose newer technologies and geometries to achieve a better cycle times.
responsibilities
the duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
* engaging directly with customers/prospects and preferred metalworking manufacturers on a daily basis
* driving the metal working category top line sales and profitability for a defined list of customers on a local scale
* communicating key metalworking initiatives for customers to our network of metal working specialists and branches
* performing metal working process mapping/facility assessments
* offer internal and external metalworking related training
* lead, coordinate efforts and submit metalworking related bids.

* possess a current full valid driver's
* excellent written and oral communication skills
* proficient using microsoft office suite (excel/word/powerpoint)
* highly motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented
* demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
* demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
* exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning, critical thinking and decision-making skills
* ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

* comfortable making high level, group sales presentations

* ability to lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs
preffered position qualifications:
* possess a bachelor's degree in a related education
* market and product knowledge
* proven track record of success metalworking account
* ing. Mecánica, aeronáutica, robótica, mecatrónica, automotriz, industrial (con experiencia en maquinados)
* técnico en mantenimiento industrial, técnico en manufactura asistida por computadora, técnico en mecatrónica, técnico en procesos industriales.
