Digital Marketing Associate
Details
Part-time: 20 hrs/week
Rate: 9 USD/hour

Your Role
Your passion for digital marketing knows no bounds. You have experience in monetizing digital marketing channels. You can craft stories with numbers and convey them using visual images and compelling content. You can communicate digital marketing best practices and recommendations. You can listen to businesses and assess pain points and opportunities to provide services. You know or are eager to learn a range of analytics, marketing, and design tools (e.g., Optimizely, Alexa, MailChimp, Canva, Photoshop, Google Analytics/GTM, Google Ads, Google Display Network, Facebook Ads Manager). Most importantly, you’re passionate about helping the small business community in LA and worldwide!
Your Skill Set
- Drive best-in-class digital marketing strategies; evangelize the process, partner with the marketing team, and work with the marketing manager to scale projects
- Edit videos and photos; creative in crafting ideas for engaging content; knows how to shoot videos and photos
- Create online business listings including Google Business Profile, Facebook Business, LinkedIn Business, Yelp Business, Bing Business Listing, and others
- Manage social media and ads across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and Pinterest
- Excellent customer service when interfacing with clients
- Execute messaging strategy, production of creative, and deployment of materials to internal and external customers; includes web strategy execution, advertising, web content, launch kits, and more
- Love scaling small businesses and can use digital marketing tools such as email, social media, SEO, SEM, and PPC
- Assist in developing, implementing, managing, and streamlining processes for the marketing team
- Support the team in learning, optimizing, and maintaining e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, and Amazon
Expectations and Requirements
- 1-2 years of marketing experience, preferably digital and within an agency setting
- Bachelor\'s degree in marketing, business administration, or other applicable disciplines
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and excellent proofreading skills
- Superior writing skills – ability to pitch in and write marketing copy as needed
- A working knowledge of design, photography, and print production
- Digital certificates within Google Ads/Analytics, Facebook, HubSpot, etc., are preferable but not required
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or Amazon Seller Central
