The facility supervisor will be responsible for the management of our service center representative and material handler teams and other faculty members dedicated to assisting our customers with various transportation activities and needs.
in this role, you would train, develop, and lead your team to execute and perform quality customer service and consistently meet our customers' supply chain deliverables.
you would equally research, analyze, and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance team and department performance.

essential duties and responsibilities
* direct supervision of a robust transportation department and team dedicated to assisting customers within the protrans international network.
* direct, support, and train various teammates to provide and ensure quality service and consistently meeting transportation deliverables.
* handle escalated logistic and supply chain-based issues from various customers within our network.
* coordinate, track, and ensure on-time shipments from dock-to-customer.
* oversee, train, and reinforce proper safety and compliance practices for all employees.
* analyze and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance the performance of the team and department.
* design and develop specific work instructions to continuously meet both quality standards and expected customer service delivery models.
* track and write various reports for senior leadership and top-tier decision makers.
* lead, develop, and motivate members to cultivate a sense of unity and overall enhance team environment.
education and experience
* bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university; and / or three to five years of equivalent experience.
* 2-3 years' experience managing employees or leading various teams in a logistics or customer service-based environment.
* experience utilizing any inventory software or other proprietary databases.
* microsoft office / outlook experience.
