what you will do in this role:
* monitor the activities of inventory control.
* conduct shift start meeting 6am provide instructions on the safety moment to all operating personnel.
* check attendance for the day.
* complete justified absence or unjustified absence forms.
* keep track of and request staff vacations with hr
* disciplinary reports & suspension reports.
* supervise 4 forklift operators.
* sign the forklift checklists at the beginning of each shift to be used during the shift.
* fix and close gemba findings that are assigned to your areas.
* provide service to the kitting area as its main client with the support of delivering materials (ensure the supply of kitting materials).
* perform replenishment of the materials in demand for the month and move them from the asrs warehouse to rack2-wms.
* provide service to the receipts area to generate available positions to complete the put away of the new materials received.
* storing receipt materials with k forklifts in the asrs warehouse where the receiving team drops off the materials.
* comply with the quarterly cycle count program.
* maintain inventory reliability at the companys required levels.
* report near misses that occur in the area.
* complete two 5s program audits as a 5s auditor.
* complete two audits of the safety bbss of ehss&s program.
* complete a quarterly kaizen for materials areas.
* comply with the ownership program indicators together with his operators:
o % inventory accuracy per area
o % kaizen per area completed (1 per area per month)
o % closing gemba findings (based on the number of findings recorded in sprocket)
o % ehss bbs audits completed (2 per area supervisor per month)
o % score obtained from the plants 5s program audits (all must be 100% green)
o % 5s audits completed per supervisor (2 per area supervisor per week)
o % staff attendance per area (including psg unexcused absences)
