pennengineering is seeking a motivated, excited, individual to be a part of the sales team in mexico. As a business development manager at pennengineering, you’ll collaborate with teams that do truly amazing things.

sales and customer engagement

* proactively engage with existing and potential customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
* foster effective relationships with key decision-makers within oems and tier companies.
* execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
* utilize current pennengineering (other bu’s) customer contacts to penetrate into their mtp needs.
* land and expand with new and existing customers.

technical expertise

* connect customers with technical support and product recommendations aligned to their applications, utilizing pennauto’s capabilities
* collaborate with engineering and product development teams to resolve customer-specific challenges for made to print components, based on current capabilities of cold forming + machining.

order management

* manage the entire sales process from initial inquiry to order fulfillment, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
* prepare and follow up on quotations, negotiate terms, and close sales agreements.

market and industry analysis:

* stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities.
* contribute to the development of sales strategies and marketing initiatives based on industry insights.
* identify and segment potential leads by industry, size, and purchasing behavior
* conduct research on target prospects to understand their business and pain points to try to resource to pennauto.
* market and introduce our value proposition of made to print difficult components trough cold forming + machining.

qualifications

* bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
* minimum of 3 years’ experience in automotive sales within a tier 1 or tier 2.
* preferred understanding of fastener products and cold formed components + machining
* excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
* experience in cold forming/cold heading or specialty fastener industry highly desired.
