responsible for purchase order execution, follow -up, problem resolution, and on-time delivery
ensure the correct supply of materials and services according to the objectives and policies of the company.
manage part and vendor data within purchasing information records and source lists
coordinate and participate in communications between vendors and internal stakeholders on the status of purchase orders, as necessary, to resolve procurement issues
active cooperation with the procurement area region in order to develop and achieve strategic targets.
accountable for the operational procurement kpis within responsible spend
responsible for the direct, indirect spend of dedicated area
establish cost effective sustainable and consistent supplier base to guaranty deliveries for our operation in the dedicated area.
responsible for the permanent search, selection, development and evaluation of reliable and efficient suppliers.
close interactions with suppliers and internal customers of the services, direct and indirect areas.
active contributor to the development of the services and market area business in mexico and central america.
respond to stakeholder requests.
approve invoices and troubleshoot related issues
assist with supplier communication regarding first articles
communicate special or technical requirements to suppliers.
prepare reports as required
perform other duties as necessary

qualifications & experience

minimum bachelor degree in engineering, business, administration or similar.
minimum 3-4 years of experience in procurement or similar.
self-motivated and able to manage complexity in products and organizations
proven experience within organizations managed by an integrated erp system (sap preferred)
data driven and strong analytical skills
strong negotiation and collaboration skills
proven ability to deliver results and leading a team of professionals
readiness to travel up to 10%
able to negotiate in english (must have)

strong understanding of service and support process and practices
strong oral and written communication skills

working knowledge of sap and microsoft office products
