We are looking for a Lead Business Analyst to join our distributed team and deliver ongoing support for a custom insurance policy administration platform.
In this position, you will play a central role in aligning the system with business objectives and ensuring it continues to meet evolving operational requirements.
Responsibilities Oversee configuration activities for the insurance policy administration application
Gain expertise in configuration filework, including rating, UI elements, error handling, and document prototypes
Develop Epics, Features, and User Stories in MS Azure DevOps to support the rollout of advanced functionality
Maintain and expand the knowledge base by recording knowledge transfer sessions and project activities using MS Office and SharePoint
Manage and resolve production issues for the core team
Prepare and update documentation that captures issues and user requirements
Facilitate requirement gathering and estimation efforts
Work closely with business stakeholders, vendor analysts, and developers to clarify issues and define action plans
Qualifications Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a business analyst or in a related capacity
At least one year of experience leading and managing technical or development teams
Advanced skills in analyzing and preparing documentation
Solid understanding of insurance industry practices and workflows
Proficient in SQL for data analysis and generating reports
Experience in documenting requirements during knowledge transfer activities
Confident in direct communication with clients and stakeholders
Eagerness to learn and actively support a growing team and expanding account
Strong English language skills, both spoken and written, at B2+ level or above
