Placement senior manager job description
we are seeking a placement senior manager to fill this key role. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing the overall placement strategy for the region, managing daily operations and staffing issues for local offices, and stimulating revenue growth by placing new business, improving retention rates, and increasing commission rates.
key responsibilities:
* develop an overarching placement strategy for the region in collaboration with regional placement officers
* manage daily operational activities and address staffing concerns within local offices
* promote revenue expansion through new business placements, enhanced retention rates, and increased commission earnings while leveraging group resources effectively
* negotiate terms for major accounts and provide expert advice on complex placements
* identify and develop new partner markets where necessary, as well as support national relationships
* foster strong, effective relationships with carriers, clients, placement teams, producers/sales, and resolve any conflicts that arise
* maintain an active talent pipeline for placement roles
requirements:
* bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and insurance brokers license
* able to think strategically and provide expert, in-depth advice to clients
* strong technical knowledge of insurance contracts/structure
* demonstrate core competency of professional values and vision
* understand global market trends and dynamics
* leadership skills and ability to mentor
* minimum 6 years of relevant insurance experience
