As a *sr production planner*here at honeywell, you will be leading globally across the supply chain network to deploy the honeywell global design model (gdm) and facilitate the full adoption across your network.
In this role, you will impact and improve the supply chain planning and execution process within the business, ensuring that the network capacity plans and constrained master production schedules optimize labor and machine resources while achieving business goals for cost control, productivity, and working capital.
- create master production plan/program
- coordinate engineering change activities from the materials side
- push and pull planned and firm production orders
- actively resolve demand issues, capacity constraints, and material availability
- own supply kpis: ottr / ottp, past due, site inventory, mps loading, and schedule adherence
- active participant in std transition processes
- collaborate with supply and materials planners to resolve issues
- identify and address capacity constraints
- create and review preliminary site capacity plans (cell, production line, etc.)
- review constrained capacity and supply plans in the siop cycle
- support the inventory/materials planner to maintain accurate planning parameters/material master data
- review changes in net demand requirements / supply plan / drp
- close engagement with product marketing for npi / eol / promotion / projects / plc
- scenario planning and optimization of inventory plans (volume & value $)
- expedite materials with the purchasing team to support the production planmitigate excess or obsolete material

- 5+ years of experience in supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
- deep knowledge of product lifecycle events and transitions to support product portfolio vitality goals.
- expertise in material control systems such as mrp/sap systems.
- strong project management and problem-solving skills.
