- expenditure analysis: perform comprehensive analyses of expenditures to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction. Identify cost-saving opportunities and collaborate with department heads to implement efficiency improvements.
- financial reporting: assist in the preparation of financial reports and forecasts. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data related to operations.
- operations reporting: perform analysis and reporting to the plant management based on pbu needs.
- inventory accuracy: oversee inventory management processes to ensure accuracy and integrity. Conduct regular audits and work closely with supply chain and production teams to resolve discrepancies.
- month-end close support: assist in the month end close by identifying accounting adjustments to ensure the accuracy of the financial statements.
- process improvement: collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance internal controls within the manufacturing environment.
- compliance and auditing: ensure adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (gaap) and company policies.
*what we look for*
- bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting within a manufacturing environment, with a focus on operational finance.
- excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with strong problem-solving abilities.
- must have the ability to work and be effective in a team environment.
- familiarity with it systems as they relate to financial functions and operational areas.
- individual pc skills, particularly with onestream.
