In this role, your responsibilities will be:
* by analyzing work orders, you will flag potential issues and work with purchasing to secure missing materials. You will expedite deliveries, ensuring orders stay on track and production runs efficiently.
* regularly reviews dispatch lists, and tracks order progress through manufacturing, warehouse, and packaging.
* maintains close communication with the master planning leader, seeking their work order listings are clean, preventing a work order from lasting more than four days without being released for production, and negotiating the rescheduling of the orders that exceed that period.
* you will analyze open orders and collaborate with teams to address potential stockouts. Create detailed shortage lists, negotiate better delivery dates, and follow through to ensure on-time delivery.
* we take a proactive approach by reviewing work orders and quickly correcting any mistakes. This ensures accurate instructions reach the production floor, keeping things running smoothly.
* experience in machining planning programs (high volume -high mix assemblies)
qualifications:
* bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, international business or related areas.
* 2+ years of experience in production planning, line balancing, customer service, reporting and graphics and interdisciplinary work.
* fluent communication in english and spanish.
* knowledge of mrp / crp / mps.
* efficient in the use of ms office (excel) and desirable experience in oracle software.
* an active teammate with a focus on continuous improvement and customer service.
