The hr manager (hrm) will report directly to the hr director and is responsible, under the guidance of the hr director, for managing, assessing, and reviewing all talent development, retention, and engagement strategies, including social/community activities, work environment, associate relations, compliance, mexico’s federal labor law, and interpretation of site and company training & development policies and procedures. The incumbent contributes a high level of hr knowledge with specialization in training & development & engagement. They will generally work with considerable independence to ensure that programs and processes related to training & development, retention & engagement are effectively implemented to meet objectives aligned with broader business strategies. The position must comply with all administrative and reporting requirements mandated by mexico’s labor authorities and the company.

- provides liaison and consulting services to all management levels and associates, interpreting and enforcing company, regional, and market hr policies and procedures.
- partners with hr director & talent acquisition to analyze data on turnover and retention, developing recommendations for management and policy improvements.
- assists site leadership in developing organizational strategies, structure, and processes.
- works with management to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement related to job satisfaction and productivity.
- supports performance management initiatives and compliance with labor laws, including audits.

- manages positive associate relations and liaises with hr leadership to ensure consistent treatment.
- supports initiatives to enhance the positive work environment, including training and interventions.
- advises management on work environment issues and escalates serious grievances.
