this role will focus on e-learning strategy, instructional design, and lms management to enhance va skills, improve performance, and bridge cultural gaps between latin american vas and u.s. businesses.develop & manage training programs – lead and manage a remote team responsible for designing and delivering engaging, interactive e-learning courses tailored for remote vas.
incorporate microlearning, gamification, and self-paced learning methodologies.lms management & optimization – oversee the learning management system (lms), ensuring seamless course delivery, learner tracking, and insightful reporting to support decision-making.course curriculum management – manage, and continuously improve structured training programs that equip vas for client-facing roles, ensuring alignment with u.s. business culture, communication standards, and remote work best practices.
additionally, develop the capability to build onboarding and training solutions for u.s.-based clients to help them effectively integrate and manage remote team members.performance tracking & continuous improvement – define, track, and analyze kpis to measure training effectiveness.
use data-driven insights to optimize learning strategies and enhance overall va performance.department data analytics – analyze training department metrics to identify trends, gaps, and areas of opportunity.
collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, recruitment, engagement, and success teams to develop targeted training programs that contribute to va & client acquisition and satisfaction.requirements7+ years in e-learning, corporate training, or instructional design.proven experience managing scalable, interactive digital learning initiatives.expertise in lms platforms such as moodle, talentlms, docebo, or similar.strong understanding of cross-cultural communication and training for remote teams.excellent communication skills in english (written and verbal).tech-savvy and detail-oriented, with the ability to leverage digital tools to enhance learning.analytical mindset with the ability to interpret learning metrics and optimize performance.preferred qualificationscertification in instructional design, learning & development, or learning technologies (e.g., atd, cptm).familiarity with ai-driven learning solutions, gamification, and other innovative instructional methodologies.prior experience working with fully remote or distributed teams.seniority leveldirectoremployment typefull-timejob functiontraining and human resourcesindustries: human resourcesreferrals increase your chances of interviewing at virtual latinos by 2xsign in to set job alerts for "director of learning and development" roles.mexico city metropolitan area 3 weeks agowe're unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
