We’re looking for a support operations trainer to deliver, monitor, and evaluate the impact of training programs for employees in mexico city. The mexico city training team is dedicated to providing high-quality new hire and upskill training to support agents across merchant support. The team aims to empower support agents with confidence through ongoing education and kpi management.
about the role
we seek a motivated trainer with a successful track record in training and performance management. You will facilitate new hire onboarding and ongoing training across multiple business lines, acting as a key player in our mexico city team. You will report to the training operations supervisor within the merchant experience operations training team.
at doordash, trainers are required to be in the office during on-the-job training (ojt) for immediate support and engagement. While in-office attendance is mandatory for ojt, there are designated periods for remote work to maintain work-life balance. This role is based at our office in coyoacan, cdmx, and candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance. key responsibilities
* deliver, update, and enhance training content using learning management systems
* serve as the primary representative of merchant experience operations (mxo) for new and existing employees
* identify training gaps and lead targeted interventions to improve efficiency and quality
* cross-train team members to handle demand spikes and special projects
* recommend process improvements based on organizational knowledge and assist managers in implementation
* learn and facilitate training across multiple lines of business (lobs)
* develop engaging training materials using various communication formats
* gain deep understanding of doordash’s processes and resources
* collaborate with instructional designers and fellow trainers to share workload
qualifications and skills
* experience with merchant lobs (minimum 1 year)
* at least 2 years of training experience
* proficient in written and spoken english
* strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
* passionate about helping others
* excellent multitasking and time management abilities
* comfortable with ambiguity and making informed decisions
* quick learner, eager to absorb subject matter expertise
* innovative mindset with a focus on process improvement
* effective communicator at all organizational levels
