role overview: the business analyst manager oversees the connection between is/it and business consumers and customers. As part of the product group team, they manage a team of business analysts, ensuring a deep understanding of business opportunities and issues, and advising on optimal solutions. They translate business strategies, opportunities, threats, and needs into is/it product requirements, playing a key role in specifying, testing, and deploying these solutions.
key responsibilities:
contribution to is/it strategy:
* support the development of strategy through incremental product improvements.
operational effectiveness and efficiency:
* analyze, document, and test program development, logic, process flows, and specifications.
* document training materials for the product group.
* oversee training delivery, deployment, and support.
* support solution issue analysis and resolution.
* facilitate business scenarios and use cases, including product introduction and change management.
* collaborate with product manager to define the minimum viable product (mvp).
* assess near-term needs via structured interviews and consumer research to prioritize opportunities.
virtual team coaching:
* coach and motivate staff across organizations to understand business needs and find aligned solutions.
security, compliance & risk management:
* identify security and compliance requirements and incorporate them into solution design.
stakeholder engagement:
* elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and opportunities.
* facilitate strategy and innovation planning with stakeholders.
* propose and oversee alternative solutions, considering risks, costs, and impacts.
leadership:
* build high-performing teams aligned with organizational values and practices.
* create alignment, lead by example, and promote an open culture.
* recruit, onboard, and develop talent with effective plans and coaching.
* drive performance, provide feedback, and recognize achievements.
required profile:
* bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or related; mba preferred.
* 15+ years of relevant business analysis experience.
* over 9 years developing it hr solutions via successfactors.
* knowledge of sap hr modules (payroll, time management, talent, etc.).
* extensive project management experience.
* beneficial: business experience in relevant functions.
* strong experience in agile/devops environments with design thinking.
* effective communication skills in english and across organizational levels.
* experience working globally and with virtual teams.
