Join our dynamic Transportation Solutions division, where you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and global design centers to deliver industry-leading products. You’ll report to the Product Design Engineering Manager and play a key role in shaping the future of connectivity systems.
What You Will Do
Partner with customers and internal teams to define project scope and requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Lead concept development and deliver manufacturable, cost-effective solutions that meet rigorous automotive standards.
Apply engineering expertise to conduct DFMEA, FEA, Tolerance Analysis, and create detailed product models and drawings using GD&T methodology.
Manage engineering change requests and develop validation plans to ensure product reliability and performance.
Facilitate technical reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product design and quality.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive product design.
Proficiency in CAD software (NX or similar), GD&T, DFMEA, FEA, and Tolerance Analysis.
Experience with structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone).
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Willingness to travel up to 10%.
What Will Put You Ahead
In-depth knowledge of material mechanics and manufacturing processes such as injection molding, over-molding, stamping, and plating.
Experience designing connectors, headers, and radar sensors, including tolerance stack-up studies and engineering changes.
Familiarity with international quality systems (IATF, ISO, TS), APQP, and PPAP processes.
Proficiency with computational tools such as Microsoft Office and Minitab.
