About the rolethe plant cost accounting senior manager will guide a regional team responsible for cost analysis, operational insights, and financial performance support for manufacturing plants. This position combines people leadership, process oversight, continuous improvement, and strong stakeholder collaboration. A critical focus of this role is developing capabilities within the team and building a diverse and high-performing talent pipeline.it is highly desirable to have experience supporting manufacturing sites across multiple regions, particularly within latam and noam. Familiarity with regional operational differences and cross-border coordination will be valuable for success in this role.location: mexico city (hybrid role)
responsibilities
coordinate and supervise plant cost analysis activities, ensuring alignment with business priorities and performance expectations.
Support the validation and review of product cost development across the manufacturing network.
Oversee annual budget preparation and collaborate closely with analysts and operational stakeholders.
Monitor monthly production variances and partner with cross-functional teams to understand deviations and recommend actions.
Deliver high-quality monthly reporting summaries and performance insights to leadership.
Qualifications
bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
+10 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, cost management, or plant operations support.
Proven experience leading large teams.
Advanced english required.
Required skills
technical / compliance: knowledge of lean six sigma or pmo methodologies is a plus.
Soft skills: strong collaboration and communication, problem-solving and decision-making, strategic thinking, ability to manage technical and functional processes effectively.
Leadership competencies: effective communication, continuous improvement mindset, change management, customer and stakeholder focus, ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
