about the role
as an it business analyst in logistics / demand planning, you will help drive progress in the optimization and efficiency of the supply chain mainly in distribution planning processes.

what you will do
* participate in regional projects related to sap logistics & demand planning
* drive breakdown of business requirements, by conducting workshops or key meetings to capture business requirements and perform as-is analysis, to develop comprehensive requirement specifications that will determine the estimate of cost, time and resources based on standard templates
* interact with it global team
* propose and drive implementation of sap system improvements
* ensure close collaboration and communication with all stakeholders and global it team
* provide expertise and guidance in supply chain mainly in distribution to others and actively share best practices
* collaborate with and coordinate external resources
* participate in transitioning the requirements and use cases to the designers to ensure a clear and complete understanding of the solution specification
* continuously review and edit requirements, specifications and recommendations related to a proposed solution
* work with the project manager, architects and developers to define metrics and performance goals for the solution.
* arrange training and conduct end user training
* process and take ownership of service tickets from customers mainly from business logistics.
who you are
* you hold a university degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline.
* minimum of 3-5 years' experience in it supply chain execution primary in logistics.
* solid understanding and experience of sap solutions in supply chain execution/planning, logistics and demand planning management systems.
* experience in distribution, shipment cost, freights, delivery management, shipments, demand planning (apo) & integration with third party systems.
* knowledge in supply network and sales would be a plus.
* strong interpersonal skills combined with very good written and verbal communication skills in spanish, english
* additional language(s) skills would be beneficial.
* good knowledge in waterfall, agile or hybrid project implementation methodology would be a plus.
* ability to travel approx. 30%
* knowledge in s4/ibp would be a plus
