responsibilities
 * be responsible for induction of all newcomers in the perimeter (temporaries included). Ensure the organization and scheduling of training actions.
 * analyse flexibility and multi-skills needs of the apz, and define training plans to develop team autonomy and an improvement spirit.
 * monitor the certification process for each operator and update the real-time flexibility grid.
 * manage daily absenteeism, holidays, safety rules enforcement, environment risk analysis, apz communication, and performance boards updates.
 * ensure respect of standard stops (breaks, meetings) by checking on genba and validate operators’ working time.
 * ensure that standards of reaction are applied with rigor and perform escalation according to standards.
 * follow up apz main objectives in monthly meetings with all people under responsibility.
 * be responsible for personnel involvement and ensure a positive social climate.
 * conduct operators’ annual appraisals, salary reviews and career interviews.
 * maintain standards of daily operations, including ojt on standards implemented and enforcement of health, safety, environmental and site rules for the apts within the perimeter.
 * ensure existence of updated working instructions for every station, including reworks, and ensure respect of all working standards (safety, work instructions, quality, 5s, product respect) during operations with opportunities for improvements.
 * define work standards with support functions and operators; ensure tpm standards are deployed and used, including abnormality detection, inspection, and maintenance planning.
 * monitor equipment performance on genba (cycle times, microstoppages) and react as needed; perform time measurements and report progress on qcdm boards and related areas.
 * propose weekly apz headcounts and organization to the apu manager according to mps; ensure production respects sqcdm and inventory targets.
 * in case of issues, coordinate containment and corrective actions with apu support functions; review qrap daily; escalate to apu when needed.
 * liaise with supply chain on mps daily priorities and ensure mps contracts are respected; involve support functions to resolve issues quickly.
 * monitor shift qcdm and ensure qcdm boards are updated; generate reports defined by the site.
continuous improvement
 * lead action plans to improve sqcdm performance in coherence with apu & plant, including productivity plans.
 * promote a dynamic proposals of improvements system and participate in safety and environmental risk reduction initiatives.
 * lead line safety qrqc for category 7 safety issues and contribute to start-ups of new equipment and processes.
 * lead zoning evolution and improvements by the team; participate in apu qrqc and prepare data for attendance; pilot pdca/fta and maintenance 5 whys on topics assigned by the apu manager.
 * prepare llc & kaizen cards; lead vps workshops and liaise with site vps manager for training; participate in the weekly site vps committee and present genba status of workshops led.
 * liaise with support functions to facilitate improvement actions within apzs; participate in budget preparation and manage the apz budget.
 * promote valeo 5 axes in daily activities and develop improvement plans on vps, ip, tq to reach v5000 targets.
