import/export analyst
are you looking to grow your career in international trade? We’re seeking an import/export analyst to support global shipment operations with accuracy and efficiency.
impact in this role
in this role, you will coordinate and monitor international shipments, ensuring smooth execution of both import and export operations. You will manage shipment pre-alerts (primarily with ups) and provide ongoing tracking of inbound and outbound shipments to ensure visibility, on-time delivery, and issue resolution. You’ll partner closely with the billing/finance team to align shipment data with financial documentation and support accurate invoicing. You’ll also create and validate key export documents such as commercial invoices and packing lists, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
key responsibilities
* shipment coordination: track and monitor international shipments across the supply chain.
* pre-alert management: create and manage pre-alerts for carriers such as ups.
* documentation: prepare and validate export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists).
* shipment follow-up: continuously track shipments and resolve delays or issues.
* cross-functional coordination: collaborate with finance to align shipment and invoicing data.
* compliance & accuracy: ensure all shipment data meets internal and international standards.
qualifications
* experience or exposure to logistics, import/export, or supply chain (preferred).
* strong attention to detail, especially with documentation.
* professional fluency in english and spanish.
* strong organizational and follow-up skills.
* proactive mindset with problem-solving ability.
* ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.
