The marketing & sales director the marketing & sales director is responsible for integrating all business unit managers into a cohesive commercial strategy, analyzing markets, and developing campaigns that elevate both individual enterprises and the collective identity of alumbra. This role ensures that our products and experiences tell the story of alumbra—demonstrating that alternate models can prioritize resources and community while sustaining profitability and regional growth. Key responsibilities 1. Strategic leadership & vision define and execute marketing and sales strategies that align with alumbra’s mission and growth objectives. Collaborate with business unit managers to design tailored marketing plans and campaigns while maintaining a unified collective narrative. Position alumbra as a benchmark in alternative tourism, hospitality, culinary & restaurant experiences, aviation, ranching, and cultural enterprises. Develop and recommend annual marketing and sales plans, budgets, and kpis to the ceo and leadership team. 2. Business operations & growth oversee brand strategy & positioning, general marketing & revenue growth across ia enterprises, ensuring alignment between ranching, hospitality, culinary & restaurant experiences, aviation, and cultural ventures. Drive innovation in product packaging, pricing, and promotion strategies.establish kpis for sales performance, brand awareness, and digital engagement. Ensure operational excellence in marketing execution through shared services and cross-unit collaboration. 3. Governance & accountability present monthly, quarterly and annual marketing and sales performance reviews to the ceo, cfo and management committee. Uphold transparency and ethical standards in all promotional activities. Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and intellectual property frameworks in marketing and sales. 4. Stakeholder engagement act as a key representative of alumbra’s commercial identity, engaging with communities, partners, and global networks. Build trust-based relationships with local communities, government agencies, tourism boards, and international partners. Coordinate with public and private tourism agencies to maximize promotional benefits. Promote cultural heritage and environmental stewardship through advocacy, campaigns, and thought leadership. 5. Talent & culture recruit, inspire, and retain top talent in marketing, sales, and communications. Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and gratitude. Mentor emerging leaders, empowering them to drive innovation and impact. Ensure bilingual, inclusive communication that reflects alumbra’s values and community roots. Candidate profile experiencie 10 years of progressive leadership in marketing and sales, with 3–5 years in director-level roles in multi-business, impact-driven organizations. Proven success scaling and promoting impact-business focused enterprises across tourism, hospitality, agriculture, or aviation. Strong background in digital marketing, seo, crm, and data-driven campaign execution. Track record of collaboration with boards, investors, and external partners. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both english & spanish required.
