• responsible proper material for the identification and segregation (raw material and finished product).
• elaboration of reports requested by management.
• support the company activities and projects.
• supervise the correct use of installations and equipment in the plant.
• report unsafe conditions.
• maintain a healthy and safe work environment.
• ensure that all production personnel are property trained.
• integrate efforts across the company to ensure a focused and consistent approach for optimizing and standardizing processes.
• coordinate meetings, prepare and/or edit meeting minutes and presentations.
• work with department managers to identify appropriate resources.
• mitigates team conflict and communication problems.
• drives clarity and focus in cross-group situations.
• perform special projects as requested.
• minimum 5 years of experience as a leader in manufacturing areas in the medical, aerospace, and automotive sectors.
• experience in high volume medical device manufacturing is preferred.
• have the ability to communicate and establish professional and effective interaction with co-workers, subordinates, and all departments of the company.
• good spanish and english, written and oral communication skills.
• ability to lead, influence and set a positive example to others.
• must have independent work skills, a strong work ethic, strong leadership and the ability to handle difficult situations.
• ability to prepare and conduct effective presentations.
• ability with the microsoft office suite of applications.
• ability to travel as necessary.
