Summary of role
responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions of the business ensuring accuracy, compliance and strategic alignment. This role helps guide the senior leadership of the business from a financial perspective.
specific job responsibilities
* forecasting: preparation of annual, monthly, and weekly budgets.
* month-end closures: review of month-end results, delivery of results and preparation of financial statements.
* review of accounts: review and analysis of balance sheet and profit and loss accounts, interpretation of these.
* accounts payable: monitoring and supporting accounts payable.
* accounts receivable: oversight and support of accounts receivable
* costs: supervision and support to the cost area
* accounting: supervision and support to the accounting area
* sales: analysis of variations and sales projections (revenue)
* bpc: review of financial statements and preparation of month-end at bpc
* backline: approval and review of blackline balance accounts
* review and develop policies to regulate the financial options of the company, as well as periodically evaluate financial procedures and give corresponding recommendations or suggest possible improvements.

* bachelor's degree in administration, accounting, finance or economics
* minimum experience of 5 years in financial leadership position
