the carrier finance department has an opening for a specialist role within the supply chain finance group. This position will require interaction with finance contacts in all carrier segment and business units, world headquarters fp&a teams, carrier global operations team and the digital technology team.
key responsibilities
* partner with global category leaders and regional operations finance team to review and analyze projects to identify financial implications and risks
* prepare monthly spend and productivity reporting packages for indirect and logistics
* standardize and assist in the preparation of productivity target guidance and status updates
* run weekly productivity dashboard updates and understand change drivers from previous week
* analyze data to identify potential risks and opportunities for stakeholders (global and regional teams)
* support the director supply chain finance leader, with ad hoc analytics and requests.
* drive standardization and process improvement across all aspects of planning and reporting, including sharing best practices.
requirements
* ba/bs degree with 3+ years of experience in finance and fp&a.
* experience with financial management systems (hfm).
* exceptional time and project management skills.
* advanced proficiency in microsoft office suite (excel, powerpoint, outlook).
* ability to solve problems independently and results-oriented.
