Job title: project lead for e-system initiatives
we are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our e-system projects. As a vital member of the powertrain cooling business unit, you will be responsible for overseeing both internal and customer-facing projects to drive profitability and innovation.
* main responsibilities:
* manage internal projects aimed at streamlining processes and reducing costs to enhance profitability.
* lead customer projects from the request for quotation (rfq) phase through successful serial production launch, ensuring timely completion and meeting customer expectations.
* act as the primary liaison between customers and cross-functional teams, facilitating communication and resolving any issues that may arise.
* drive project timelines to meet internal and external milestones, ensuring deadlines are met and projects are completed on schedule.
* collaborate with engineering, quality, operations, c&s, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless project execution and minimize risks.
* manage risks and ensure compliance with internal and customer requirements, maintaining a high level of quality and integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
required skills and qualifications:
* bachelor's degree in business administration, electrical, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
* 7–10 years of experience in project development and customer projects, preferably in the automotive industry.
* strong knowledge of cross-functional project coordination and risk management.
* results-driven, proactive, and highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
* fluent in english; additional languages are a plus.
* availability to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally.
* strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and resolve conflicts.
preferred qualifications:
* experience in powertrain cooling or electrification projects, with a strong understanding of the relevant technologies and systems.
* advanced degree in a relevant engineering or business field, such as a master's or ph.d.
* familiarity with vave methodology and automotive quality systems, with a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
