The university of hong kong is seeking applications for appointment as tenure-track professor/associate professor/assistant professor jointly held between the department of emergency medicine, school of clinical medicine and the department of pharmacology and pharmacy, to commence as soon as possible, on a three-year fixed-term basis. The successful applicant will be expected to possess a ph.d. degree in medicine, pharmacy, pharmacology or a related discipline, demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching, outstanding academic leadership, and evidence of international recognition. The appointee will focus on scholarly research, undertake teaching duties at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and contribute to service and administration in the departments and the faculty. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and university contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
