about the role:
this is a temporary position that requires an experienced payroll specialist to lead the end-to-end payroll processes for employees in mexico. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing payroll inputs, ensuring accurate and timely calculations, and supporting employee inquiries.
key responsibilities:
* receive and manage payroll inputs through defined systems and communication channels
* enter and validate payroll data in system
* ensure accurate and timely payroll calculations and approvals
* generate payment files and support accounting records
* attend employees' questions regarding their payroll
* process and validate electronic payroll receipts (xml) and reconcile them with sat payroll viewer administer employee benefit cards (e.g., food vouchers)
* execute internal controls to ensure compliant payroll processing
* identify opportunities to simplify and automate payroll activities
requirements:
* 3–5 years experience in payroll processing (biweekly, monthly, etc.)
* degree in accounting, business administration, or human resources
* solid knowledge of mexican labor and tax regulations (lft, lisr, imss, infonavit)
* experience working with payroll systems (workday & sap strong plus)
* proficiency in microsoft office tools
* proficient english level (written and spoken)
* strong service mindset and effective communication skills
