role description
this is a full-time on-site role for an interpreter located in guadalajara, jal. The interpreter will be responsible for providing consecutive over-the-phone interpretation. The interpreter will work closely with clients to ensure accurate and effective communication in various settings.
qualifications
proficiency in consecutive and simultaneous interpretation is preferred
* experience in over-the-phone interpretation and video remote interpreting
* excellent command of american sign language
* ability to provide in-person interpretation services
* strong verbal communication skills in english and one or more foreign languages
* attention to detail and strong listening skills
* availability to work on-site in guadalajara, jal
* relevant certifications or training in interpretation
* experience in technical or specialized terminology in fields such as medical or legal is a plus
