- break down the site's continuous improvement strategy into action plans, apply/monitor them.- plan, organize and carry out the identified improvement actions.- use and implement continuous improvement tools (lean manufacturing, kaizen, 5s, vsm, etc.).- lead cross-functional working groups in order to deploy the continuous improvement approach to all teams.- train and support technical and production teams in continuous improvement tools.- provide problem-solving training to the cross-functional team (as needed).- perform all other related duties as assigned.*what will help you thrive in this role?*:
- bachelor's degree in engineering with 3-5 years' in continuous improvement approaches, including lean, 5s, smed, vsm, etc.- systematic and analytical approach to problem solving.- understanding of lean and practical problem solving methods.
- excellent project and change management skills.
- aptitude for facilitating lean tools training at all plant levels
- proficiency with microsoft office (word, visio, excel, outlook and powerpoint)
- good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- ability to work within a diverse environment and a variety of individuals at all levels.
