About the role
* this position reports to the americas zone infrastructure security lead dino kerriou
* this role is part of a team responsible for analyzing and remediating security issues on prem, in the cloud (azure, google and aws).
* the goal of the infra cybersecurity team is to keep all aspects of our infrastructure up to date and meeting l’oreal global standards.
key responsibilities
* analyzing security reports from our global system
* planning and implementing changes to fix the issues identified
* technical and change implementation owner, being the person who actually does the updates to the required systems.
* technical leadership for the amer infra cybersecurity team, and ability to show other engineers on the infra and apps team the best way to remediate the issues identified.
* security incident management to handle high impact incidents identified by the global cybersecurity team
what we are looking for
* 5 years’ experience working in an enterprise infrastructure department focused on either server, workstation, network support and remediation.
* good knowledge of azure cloud, aws, server, sql server, firewall and network topologies.
* technical knowledge of analyzing and remediating cve’s identified by 3 rd party tools.
* previous experience as a server system administrator in a cloud environment is preferred.
* substantive knowledge of both windows server and linux system is preferred.
* ability to work within a team, understanding and following key change management procedures is a must.
* experience working through system upgrade planning with enterprise infrastructure and applications teams.
