- RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Docker and Kubernetes
- AWS and/or GCP cloud platforms
- Relational and NoSQL databases
- Kafka or SQS
- CI/CD tools – especially GitLab CI/CD
- Terraform
- Automated testing
- Monitoring/logging tools like New Relic and Splunk
