this role combines technical leadership, project management, and day-to-day operations oversight, ensuring network performance, uptime, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.
responsibilities lead and oversee the network engineering team, ensuring smooth operations across voice, video, data, automation, and security.
manage network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, vpns, sd-wan, and other emerging technologies.
monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, minimize outages, and schedule maintenance and upgrades.
oversee projects: define scope, allocate resources, manage timelines, and ensure budget adherence.
ensure network configurations, capacity, and newly installed equipment meet company standards.
identify performance bottlenecks, recommend solutions, and drive implementation while balancing technical, cost, and resource requirements.
maintain sla compliance and ensure effective configuration and release management.
foster a proactive, high-energy team culture focused on problem-solving, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
you will be successful in this role if you have: 6+ years of experience in network design, implementation, maintenance, and team or project leadership.
proven expertise managing network devices and services such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, vpns, sd-wan.
strong knowledge of network performance optimization, troubleshooting, and incident management.
familiarity with network security principles and best practices.
fluent english and spanish (oral and written).
bachelor's degree in network engineering, telecommunications, or a related field.
must reside in nuevo león and have availability for a hybrid work schedule at the client site in monterrey.
strong communication, leadership, and team management skills.
ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and maintain a proactive, solution-focused approach.
