*responsibilities*:
- work as senior on multiple clients as a part of regulatory reporting implementation team.
- facilitate and encourage the necessary conversations between the stakeholders (client and/or onshore team) to determine requirements
- work independently with minimum supervision from the onshore project team/client
- provide technical guidance to the team as well as client as needed
- be involved in project management as needed
- proactively develop and impart training on new onboarded or upcoming initiatives for team members.
- work on identifying process improvement areas and bring in the culture of automation.
- actively participate in the selection of new regulatory tools/frameworks and methodologies.
recommend and assist in its implementation.
*requirements*:
- 5 to 7 years of experience with at least 3 - 4 years of senior experience in bcm or wam sectors.
- experience as a business analyst on regulatory reporting in bcm or wam sectors.
exposure to us based asset management or fund administration firm will be an addon.
- general understanding of us gaap, mutual fund regulatory is a plus.
- experience in writing business and functional requirements.
- effectively coordinate with technology teams in terms of explaining the requirements, participate in testing the build and reviewing/approving the test results.
- evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, developing and implementing solutions.
- should be versatile and have a good understanding of working with technology platforms/frameworks/tools.
- leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
- provide expertise and translate the business needs to design; and develop tools, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization.
- good exposure to analytics and reporting tools like axiom, vermeg, onesumx, databases, sql.
- proactive approach to anticipating client needs, issues and challenges, and initiating solutions that carries through to resolution.
- experience with data, etl tools, bi tools, jira, confluence is a plus.
- should pay attention to detail, excellent analytical skills and must display effective interaction capabilities with various stakeholders.
- good communication skills, both written and verbal
- self-starter with the ability to solve problems creatively and deliver results while working in a dynamic, collaborative, and challenging environment.
