Senior manager, strategy mexico & andean region
the senior manager, strategy mexico & andean region will be responsible for the leadership of the country/region operating and strategic agenda, including direct involvement with certain strategic projects and actively lead the pursuit for inorganic growth opportunities on priority areas, in alignment with latam and global strategy.
location: mexico (guadalajara) or colombia (cali, bogotá or medellín)
key responsibilities:
* drive strategic initiatives and partnerships in line with ingredion's goals for the latam region. Lead project development, business case creation, and market analysis, utilizing financial modeling and competitive insights.
* lead m&a and external partnerships for mexico & andean region, guiding search efforts, fostering relationships, and facilitating decision-making processes.
* translate business strategies into actionable plans, leveraging market insights and technology for successful execution. Foster collaboration across functions and business units to ensure alignment and prioritization.
* collaborate with latam strategy team to enhance the five-year strategic business plan for ingredion mexico & andean region, considering regional dynamics and fostering synergy among teams.
requirements
* bachelor's degree in technical or business-related field with mba strongly preferred.
* 10 years of experience in a b2b environment, preferably through a combination of consulting and industry experience with focus on strategic business development.
* strategic mindset with excellent analytical skills and solid financial acumen.
* proven ability to build relationships and lead through influence at all levels of the organization.
* exceptional communication and presentation skills.
* fluent english and spanish skills.
* results orientation with sense of urgency and deep curiosity to diagnose problems and find solutions.
* translates business strategies into actionable plans by leveraging market and functional knowledge.
* ability to develop relevant market connections and design partnerships.
