the product engineer is responsible for mechanical and electrical engineering analysis, detailed design and development of special requirements, as well as selection of air
*how you will do it*:
- investigates and analyzes product design proposals and able to conceptualize and implement design ideas into the product.
- proficient at preparing, checking, and coordinating the release of documentation to support designs.
- responsible for the accurate completion of projects.
- proficient at selecting the most suitable electrical and mechanical components.
- uses standard and sophisticated technical and mathematical principles, theories, concepts, techniques, processes, and standard methodologies in field.
- responsible for engineering drawings including electrical schematics, bill of materials.
- experience with mechanical systems and material resource planning (mrp) software also a plus.
- adheres to the company's code of conduct and business ethics standards.
- implementing prevention risks tools such as dfmea.
- creates specifications, requirements, and criteria for concepts, performance, and production
- designs and develops devices in accordance with the various phases of a program schedule.
- develops, maintains, and releases engineering drawings, system designs, or engineering documentation.
- provides manufacturing support ensuring products are built according to customer requirements and product specifications.
- performs failure analysis and corrective actions when necessary

- bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, or related field)
- minimum 5 year of product development experience
- sap operational knowledge.
- able to speak to technical and non-technical audiences, as well as absorb and use technical documentation.
- ability to work in a fast-paced, schedule driven, team-oriented environment.
- travel domestically and internationally required (up to 10% of time)
*preferred*
- hvac or research and development experience.
- experience in bills of material maintenance, engineering changes or super-user capabilities in unrelated modules.
- product lifecycle management experience.
- familiarity with hvac systems and electromechanical engineering design and test is helpful.
- knowledge of design core tools.
