Job Title: Procurement Specialist
Main responsibilities:
- Definition of procurement policies by component.
- Loading component profiles in ERP systems, including lead times, SNP, minimum and maximum inventory levels, Incoterm, and freight cost control.
- Generating purchase orders to suppliers through the ERP system.
- Maintaining material inventory levels through rotation and monitoring.
- Analyzing original versus actual purchase order variances.
- Managing total MRP processes, comparing consumption analysis with theoretical requirements, controlling scrap from Plex, and analyzing fluctuations.
- Coordinating break points for engineering changes related to materials (raw) - obsolescence.
- Registering part numbers in the Plex system.
- Issuing purchase orders to MRO suppliers.
- Tracking MRO part deliveries until they arrive at the plant.
- Managing material receipts at the MRO warehouse.
- Ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Analyzing consumption trends.
- Coordinating cyclic inventory movements within the MRO warehouse.
- Monitoring PEPS performance.
- Supervising MRO warehouse assistants.
- Reviewing minimums and maximums based on historical trends.
- Improving packing density management.
- Managing import logistics for component parts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- One year of experience in a similar role or a related position.
- Conversational English language skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Purchasing planning expertise.
- Materials management knowledge.
- Understanding of maximums and minimums in inventory management.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
