Job title: senior manager, ww strategic inventory management
we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior manager to lead our worldwide inventory planning efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing optimized inventory plans that drive business results.
key responsibilities:
* develop and implement global network inventory optimization strategies through the use of multi-echelon inventory optimization techniques.
* lead annual volume setting and develop inventory optimization plans across the globe, instituting required business processes and capabilities to ensure sustainable improvements to inventory levels.
* develop and implement stock strategy for the global network, aligning with key partners and incorporating strategy into financial outlook and target setting activities.
* craft strategy and influence plan, source, deliver, and make partners across the organization to drive the strategy into action.
* define and maintain integrated business planning (ibp) for inventory management and deploy best practices across the entire supply chain.
* lead inventory projection process and leadership reviews (e2e supply chain & financial reporting).
* influence peers towards driving action and train indirect team members on inventory management to build a culture focused on inventory while leading decision making aligned with the strategy defined.
* analyze inventory and slow-moving obsolete stock (slob) results and provide mentorship/recommendations for inventory trade-offs and decisions to business partners such as liquidation, donation, and destruction processes.
qualifications:
* a minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.
* 10+ years in manufacturing, supply chain planning, logistics, and/or procurement is required.
* health care industry experience is preferred.
* at least 5 years people leadership with global experience strongly preferred.
* experience working in s&op planning environment is highly preferred.
* experience working across operations/commercial teams strongly preferred.
* experience with erp (sap/apo/omp) and advanced planning systems is required.
* experience with meio software is preferred.
* proficiency in english language is required. Spanish is a plus.
* this position requires up to 25% travel - national or international.
