in this position, you will be responsible for the following:
- new data creation
o guide and support product development teams on cm activities
o attend team material meetings and report on status of all boms, parts, and documents
o coordinate initial release of new part/bom/doc objects and review for completeness
o facilitate part/bom/doc lifecycle progression and release by using reports to show status of objects preventing promotion in wc
- new data extension
o work with engineer to release boms / parts to manufacturing for planning, prototyping, production, and sales.
O manage data extension priorities per program build schedules
o notify customer upon completion of data extension
- initiate part/bom extension requests through proto. Initiate material/ bom creation within sap by populating data on the sap dashboard
o initiate part/bom promotion requests. Initiate material validation from prototype to production status within sap on engineering behalf.
- intervene with businesses to resolve data issues
- change review, impact analysis, and approvals
o review submitted ecn’s for completeness.
O initiate ecn impact analysis.
O manage ecn approvals.
O manage creation of new part/bom/documents
o systematically initiate ecm’s ecn’s through windchill
o audit boms extended to the plant via ecn to ensure accuracy
- leadership responsibilities
o lead small team, and set performance goals and project deadlines that align with the company’s larger plan
o delegate work to employees, track progress, and provide constructive feedback throughout the progress
o address issues with employees, and other concerns in a timely manner
o address problems with quality of work
o act as a link between subordinate and upper management
o conduct performance reviews
o motivate team members
