we are seeking a director of sales & marketing to lead the commercial strategy for park hyatt riviera maya an upcoming ultra-luxury resort positioned to become a benchmark destination in the region.
this role requires a strategic and commercially driven leader with a deep understanding of luxury hospitality, capable of positioning the property across key international markets (u.s., mexico, and latam), driving a refined segment mix, and elevating brand presence within the global luxury landscape.
key responsibilities:
* define and execute the overall commercial strategy aligned with park hyatt brand positioning
* lead sales, marketing, and revenue teams to drive top-line performance and long-term value
* develop and strengthen relationships with key accounts, luxury consortia, and strategic partners
* optimize distribution channels and segment mix to maximize adr and profitability
* collaborate closely with operations and revenue management to ensure alignment between commercial strategy and guest experience
ideal profile:
* proven experience in a senior commercial role within luxury or ultra-luxury hospitality
* strong exposure to international markets and high-end segments (leisure, consortia, groups)
* demonstrated success in revenue generation, positioning, and demand creation for luxury properties
* strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into measurable results
* collaborative leadership style, with the ability to inspire high-performing teams
* fluent english required
