this position is based at our office in ciudad juárez, chihuahua mexico.
about the position
* financial reporting: prepare and present accurate financial statements for the plant; ensure timely submission.
* budgeting & forecasting: develop and manage the plant's budget and regular forecasts; monitor actuals versus plans.
* cost management: monitor and analyze production costs, material usage, and other expenses; support cost reduction initiatives.
* business partnering: collaborate with plant operations, supply chain, and hr to provide financial advice supporting business decisions.
* compliance: ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and external regulations (e.g., sox, ifrs); support internal and external audits.
* inventory & asset management: oversee inventory valuation, fixed asset controls, and physical asset verification processes.
* kpi reporting: develop and maintain dashboards with key financial and operational metrics; drive performance management.
