Role overview
we are seeking an experienced and proactive test lead to manage end-to-end testing activities for the ccp peru project. The candidate will lead a team of testers, ensure high-quality deliverables, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in a dynamic onsite environment in mexico.

key responsibilities
lead and manage the testing lifecycle including test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting
define test strategy, test plans, and test cases aligned with project requirements
coordinate with business stakeholders, developers, and offshore teams
ensure adherence to quality standards, timelines, and delivery milestones
track and report test progress, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership
drive automation adoption where applicable and improve testing efficiency
manage defect triage calls and ensure timely resolution
mentor and guide team members, ensuring productivity and quality
support uat and production validation phases
pega testing experience would be an added advantage

required skills & qualifications
8–12 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2–3 years in a test lead role (pega testing preferrable)
strong knowledge of stlc, sdlc, and qa methodologies
experience in test management tools (e.g., jira, alm, testrail)
good understanding of automation frameworks (selenium or similar)
exposure to api testing, database testing, and integration testing
strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
experience working in onsite-offshore model
