The system simulation and modeling (ssm) team is part of intel's software and advanced technology (satg) group. We are transforming the way our product firmware and software are developed, integrated, and tested in a modern cloud computing environment. We build high-performance system simulators that serve as the product of our future. Great simulators result in leadership products by simulating our architecture and software before committing to our product execution. We are looking for strong software engineers ready to engage in large-scale software development, automation, and cloud projects.
*responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following*:
- software development and automation, driving initiatives and projects from design through implementation and deployment, system debug and support.
- exercising judgment and discretion to develop solutions, remove obstacles and redefine approaches.
- assess risks and identify efficient approaches to deliver high quality solutions in timely manner.

*qualifications*
requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry-relevant job experience, internship experiences and or school work/classes/research.
*minimum qualifications*:
- bachelors or master's degree in computer science, computer/electrical engineering or similar field.
- 2+ years of experience in software development and software engineering skills with relevant project or work experience.
*preferred qualifications*:
- solid programming skills in c, c++ and/or python.
- strong fundamental understanding of computer architecture and systems architecture.
- experience with development and testing tools, such as git and jenkins.
