the role of a test development engineer involves designing and verifying high-density memory chips with complex functionality, ultra-high speed, and advanced low power technology. This requires expertise in mixed-signal verification, digital/analog mix-signal verification methodologies, and developing verification environments for advanced dram products.
key responsibilities:
* designing and verifying high-density memory chips with complex functionality, ultra-high speed, and advanced low power technology.
* evaluating design at chip or block level for functionality and providing solutions to meet the product requirements.
* collaborating with global design teams using verification tools and techniques, providing status updates on project progress.
* developing and maintaining test benches and test vectors using simulation tools for dram architectures.
required skills and qualifications:
* bsc or msc in electrical or computer engineering with 6+ years of industry experience.
* experience with systemverilog assertion (sva), verilog hdl, and python scripting languages.
* familiarity with simulation tools like hspice and finesim.
* knowledge of verification languages (systemverilog, uvm) and programming skills (python, perl).
preferred qualifications:
* basic understanding of cmos circuit design and dft patterns.
* developing coverage patterns and regressions for dram architectures.
* creating verification plans based on specifications and working with cross-functional teams to define and develop dft patterns.
