we’re partnering with a fast‑growing consumer gardening brand focused on sustainable, high‑quality plant care solutions. Their products are already present in major retailers and independent stores, and they are now looking for a hands‑on commercial profile to grow their specialty retail presence across the u.s.
this is a highly autonomous role that combines account management, business development, outbound sales, and account growth. The ideal person is someone who enjoys building long‑term relationships with independent retailers while also proactively opening new business opportunities.
what you’ll do
* travel occasionally across the u.s. to strengthen retailer relationships, support activations, and attend relevant trade or industry events
* own and grow a portfolio of independent lawn, garden, and gift retailers across the u.s.
* build strong relationships with store managers, buyers, and business owners
* execute cold outreach strategies to open new specialty retail accounts
* manage email and call cadences through hubspot crm
* onboard new accounts and drive opening and recurring orders
* support and process orders through faire
* partner with internal teams to execute in‑store activations, pop‑ups, and promotions
* optimize inbound lead channels including specialty retail marketplaces
* report on account performance, risks, opportunities, and growth recommendations
must‑have requirements
* proven b2b sales experience in the u.s. market
* strong background in account management and new business development
* experience with cold calling, cold email, and outbound prospecting
* experience using hubspot or similar crm platforms
* fluent english communication skills
* highly autonomous, proactive, and comfortable working with minimal oversight
* strong relationship‑building and negotiation skills
nice to have
* experience selling into specialty retail, wholesale, independent stores, or consumer products
* exposure to faire, rangeme, or similar wholesale platforms
* background in cpg, home, lifestyle, gardening, wellness, or gift brands
* experience driving repeat orders and account expansion
