* prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation guidelines, and a comprehensive food preparation checklist.
* prepare cold foods in accordance with established protocols.
* operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers while ensuring the safety of the kitchen environment.
* test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently to meet our culinary standards.
* monitor food quality throughout the preparation process.
* set-up and break down work stations to maintain efficiency.
* serve food in proper portions onto appropriate receptacles.
